Sutherland Shire Leisure Centres offer a range of work experience opportunities! Please note that whilst work experience is unpaid, the knowledge and experience you acquire will prove invaluable and support you in kick-starting your career.
We may be able to support work experience across the following teams:
- Fitness (Group Fitness Instructor, Fitness Trainer)
- Creche
- Learn to Swim/Squad Programs
If you are not a high school or TAFE student or you are a University Student not currently studying a course relevant to your request, you must provide a copy of your personal accident/professional indemnity insurance or the insurance details of the job search centre or organisation that represents you.
To meet Council's WHS requirements and in accordance with Council's COVID-19 Safety Plans, work experience students are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication.
